I'm so happy and proud of Ms. Tynishia Tufu, speller No. 4. She did amazing; she made it to the 3rd round, but didn't get to the semifinals. It must've been so nervewracking to be up there on stage spelling in front the cameras and all those people. I remember how nervous I was. It sucks because you will always remember that one word that threw you out of the competition. I didn't get a chance to compete again, but Tynishia does. There is always next year to try again little champ! :)Meet Speller No. 4 at:

Talofae ia Tynishia. Well, at least she made it to the National Bee and made her way up to Washington, D.C. I still remembered my Nini when she won too from Aua Elem school on her last year of elem. I was so proud of her and I was so grateful that she took me with her to Washington, D.C. for that first & last time. hehehe! Well, hey, at least we had a blast in D.C. We took that big encyclopedia book that weigh about 500 pounds to D.C. for nothing. Nini didn't even want to study anymore, because we made it to D.C. hehehehe! It was all good memories. Malo lava Tynishia! You Go Girl!
